Every Uttarakhandi trapped in Ukraine will have a safe return, we are in constant touch with the Ministry of External Affairs – CM Dhami
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami approached the Prime Minister’s Office for the return of the citizens of Uttarakhand trapped in Ukraine amid fears of war. He said that every citizen of the state would be brought safely. He said that the central government has started a campaign to bring Indian citizens.
According to the Chief Minister, the officials of the Ministry of External Affairs have also been discussed in this regard. It has been assured by the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of External Affairs that Indian students and citizens are being brought back safely. The Chief Minister said that information about the citizens of Uttarakhand state present in Ukraine is being collected.

According to sources, many students from Uttarakhand have gone to the Ukrainian capital cities of Kiev, Liviv and Kharkiv for medical studies. Among them are students from the capital Dehradun. Due to the deteriorating situation there, the parents of these students are worried.
