Uttarakhand : Ready to contest Lok Sabha elections, just waiting for party’s order – Trivendra Singh Rawat

Former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that whatever order the party gives him, he will follow it. If the party asks to contest the Lok Sabha elections, then they are ready to contest from any seat. While interacting informally with the media on Thursday, former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the area where his residence is located comes under Tehri Lok Sabha constituency. His Doiwala assembly constituency comes under Haridwar Lok Sabha seat. His ancestral residence is in Pauri Lok Sabha seat. Because of this, he has no problem in contesting from any seat.

The former Chief Minister said that the BJP government is coming again in Uttarakhand. Congress should not show haste now. Women and youth have voted enthusiastically in the elections. A large part of this has come in favor of the BJP. He did not rule out the apprehension that the BJP may get fewer seats from 2017, but added that the BJP is forming the government with an absolute majority. The former chief minister said that anti-incumbency against the government is natural but it is not so much that the Congress gets majority. On March 10, BJP is forming the government with a clear majority.
