Tamilnadu Minister’s daughter married against her will, now police protection is asking for threat to her life

Jayakalyani, the newly wed daughter of Tamil Nadu’s Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister Dr PK Sekhar Babu, has sought protection from the police in Bengaluru citing safety of life after marrying a Tamil Nadu businessman against the wishes of the family members.

Appealed for security by meeting with Bengaluru Police Commissioner

Jayakalyani, daughter of doctor and Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister PK Shekhar Babu, has pleaded for security in front of Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Kamal Pant. Janakalyani told reporters that she is married to Satish Kumar and the two had a love affair for six years.

Marriage according to Hindu rituals

She said that she and her husband were in danger of life, so they have sought police protection. According to those who helped the couple get married, the couple got married according to Hindu rituals at the Halaswamy Math in Raichur, the district headquarters town of Karnataka.

Father did not accept the relationship

Jayakalyani says that both of them have married of their choice. He said that my parents have not accepted our relationship. Jayakalyani alleged that Tamil Nadu Police had kept him in custody for two months.
