Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain’s convoy attacked, BJP accused, see how people climbed on Health Minister’s car
The convoy of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has been attacked. The AAP party has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of the attack. However, the Delhi unit of BJP has rubbished this allegation of AAP. According to the news agency, in its clarification, BJP said that people in Chhawla area of South-West district of Delhi had opposed the new liquor policy of the Arvind Kejriwal-led government. Earlier, in a series of tweets, AAP alleged that the Delhi unit of the BJP deployed its ‘goons’ to attack Jain’s convoy as it realized that it was going to lose the upcoming MCD elections.

The party also shared a video of the alleged attack on Twitter. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said in a tweet, ‘This is BJP. This is a party of goons. When they are losing, they show their form. People will show them their place.’ This incident happened on Goyla Dairy-Najafgarh Nala culvert. After AAP’s allegations, Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor said, “There was no hooliganism against Minister Satyendar Jain, the local residents of Chhawla area only opposed the new liquor policy of the Kejriwal government.”

The statement of the police has also come on this matter. It is said that when Minister Jain was passing through Najafgarh, some people climbed on the bonnet of his car and opposed him. Police said that no complaint has been received so far. “If any complaint is received, then legal action will be taken accordingly,” he said.
