Uttarakhand / Haldwani : Overloaded vehicles running on the roads as eunuchs for passers-by, ignoring the responsible departments

Here a motorcycle was completely damaged due to a large root of wood laden in an overloaded truck colliding with a guard installed to protect the newly constructed rail electrification at the Gaula Road railway crossing, fortunately, at that time the motorcycle rider was inside the shop to collect the goods. Had gone otherwise a big accident could have happened. There was a stir due to this sudden incident. Meanwhile, the driver managed to escape from the spot with his overloaded vehicle.

Overloaded vehicles from various depots of Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation keep commuting from Lalkuan Nagar every day. Many times there have been serious accidents due to falling of wood, bagasse or sand-gravel. Last night too, a truck loaded with heavy height collided with the guard installed to protect the rail electrification wires at the railway crossing, due to which a big root fell on the bike of Bindukhatta resident Khushal Rautela standing on the side of the road. Due to which the motorcycle was shattered. Fortunately, the motorcyclist had gone to the shop to buy the goods at the same time, due to which fortunately no loss of life was avoided. Meanwhile, on seeing the opportunity, the driver crossed the railway crossing and fled with his vehicle.

Let us inform that here overloaded vehicles are running fearlessly as eunuchs on the connecting roads including national highways. Due to which the pedestrians are facing huge loss of life and property due to the road accidents happening in the area. But the officials of the concerned department, who are controlling the overloaded vehicles, are deliberately keeping silent.
