Uttar Pradesh / Meerut : The dean of the Agricultural University was shot by miscreants
The incident is of Daurala police station area of Meerut, where car-borne miscreants were ambushed outside the Agricultural University. Rajveer Singh had left for his home. Then outside the university, car-borne miscreants opened fire on him, in which many bullets hit Rajveer Singh. The incident of firing created a stir in the area, after which he was rushed to the hospital.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, top police officers including SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary reached the spot, after which the police is now investigating the spot. However, so far neither the attackers have been found. Neither the reason for the attack has been ascertained by the police but the police have detained one of the accused for questioning and started an investigation into the reasons.
