Uttar Pradesh / Moradabad : Father and brother cut the girl student who reached lover’s house with ax and knife
A shocking incident of honor killing has come to light in a village of Bhojpur police station area. The girl, who reached the lover’s house on Wednesday morning, was stabbed to death by her father and brother with an ax and knife. This incident caused a sensation in the village. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The police have arrested the father and brother after registering a case on the complaint of the village head’s husband.
According to the police, the 17-year-old daughter of a farmer resident of the village of Bhojpur police station was a student of class XII. It is being told that the girl student was having an affair with a twenty-year-old youth of another fraternity resident of the village. Sometime late on Tuesday night, the girl had reached her lover’s house. The lover had locked her in the room. On Wednesday morning at six o’clock in the morning, the young man’s sister came down from the terrace and saw the girl in the room. He informed this to his sister-in-law, other brother and father. Seeing the girl in the house, there was a stir in the family of the young man. The father of the youth reached the house of the head husband and informed him about the whole matter. After this the father of the young man reached the girl’s house and told her father that his daughter is sitting in our house. She is insisting on marrying my son. Explain and bring him home. The father, mother and brother asked the father of the young man to convince the daughter and send her home. Even after persuasion by Pradhan and other villagers, the girl student refused to return home. Meanwhile, the girl’s family members reached there and they also tried to convince the girl student, but she remained adamant on her insistence and she flatly refused to return home. It is being told that meanwhile the father and brother of the student reached the spot with an ax and knife in their hands and they dragged the girl out of the room and stabbed her to death with an ax and knife in the verandah. Seeing the bloodied body of the girl student, the youth fled the spot after saving his life. The incident caused a stampede on the spot. The villagers informed the police about the incident. Police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. SP Dehat Vidya Sagar Mishra, CO Thakurdwara Anoop Singh also inspected the spot and questioned the eyewitnesses from the villagers. After conducting the post-mortem on Wednesday evening, the police handed over the body to the relatives.
