Hathi paw of Mussoorie A 61-year-old man died after falling into a ditch in Mussoorie. The information of which was given to the police by the local people. On which SDRF team led by Chief constable Ravi Chauhan and Mussoorie Police Force left with ambulance from SDRF Post Sahastradhara. The person who fell in the ditch was rescued by the team of SDRF and police and was taken to the sub-district hospital through ambulance. Where doctors declared him brought dead. Mussoorie police said that the said person was walking near Mussoorie with hathi paw, suddenly due to the slip of the foot of the said person, he fell on the road below from the top road. Due to which the person died on the spot. He told that the search and rescue operation was carried out by the Mussoorie Police and SDRF team by descending into the deep ditch, after intensive search the said person Chand Singh son Kartar Singh, aged 61 years resident of Haryana, was taken out from the ditch and taken to the hospital. Mussoorie Kotwal Girish Chand Sharma said that two friends from Haryana had come for a walk in Mussoorie Hathipaon that the deceased went to the roadside for defecation where his foot slipped and he fell into a deep gorge. He said that the person accompanying the deceased is being questioned by the police. That incident site is also being investigated. The body of the deceased has been taken in possession and sent for post-mortem. And the family members have also been informed about the incident.
