Uttarakhand : Khatima’s victory will repeat in Champawat too, BJP should not remain in misunderstanding – State President, Congress

Champawat MLA Kailash Gahtori has resigned from his seat for Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Now CM will contest from this seat. In such a situation, the main opposition party Congress has also geared up. Congress says that it will repeat Khatima’s victory in Champawat as well. State President Karan Mahra said that the party is fully prepared for the by-elections and will work as a people’s power.

Congress State President Karan Mahra said that the resignation of Champawat MLA has made it clear that CM will now contest from Champawat. But the BJP and the government should not remain in any confusion. Congress will repeat Khatima’s historic victory in Champawat as well. Congress is all set for the by-polls and will fight to win. Mahara said that people are troubled by unemployment, corruption, inflation in the state and BJP is working only for social animosity. He said that the entire Congress is united. Like a strong opposition, Congress will work as a power of the people.

Let us inform that the then MLA from Champawat, Kailash Gehlot has resigned from his seat for CM Dhami. He submitted his resignation to Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri on Thursday. After resigning, he said that I have taken this step for the development of Champawat. He said that development has not happened in the area, but now if CM Dhami steps in, then the area will be able to develop.
