Uttarakhand / Almora : Nursing and para medical staff boycott work in Almora Medical College

Angered by the non-action on the demands, the employees of Nursing and Para Medical Staff have gone on boycott from today. Angry employees today demonstrated in the base premises of Almora Medical College. The health system in the medical college has been affected due to the boycott of the employees. The employees said that during the COVID epidemic in 2020, more than 150 employees were appointed in the medical college under contractual practice. But the employees were told by the Medical College Administration that their tender has ended on March 28. After which the employees protested, then the medical college administration assured them of getting regular work done.
