In fact, MLA Ghatodi was constantly talking about leaving the seat for Dhami after he lost the assembly elections. This seat is adjacent to Khatima, the old seat of the Chief Minister. In such a situation, the suggestion of Gehtodi was liked by the Chief Minister and the BJP organization. If this was agreed then now the seat has been vacated.

After leaving the seat for the Chief Minister, now BJP will also respect MLA Gahatodi. For this they can be given some important responsibility in the government. Apart from this, the option of sending Gehtori to Rajya Sabha is also open to the BJP. One seat of Rajya Sabha is going to fall vacant soon. In such a situation, after the opinion of Gehtodi, a decision can be taken on this.

However, party sources say that instead of going to Rajya Sabha, MLA Gehtori can give priority to some important responsibility in the state itself. BJP State President Madan Kaushik said that MLA Gahatodi has taken a welcome decision in the interest of Champawat. Now the organization is thinking about what will be his role in the party.

Decision taken in the meeting with the workers: BJP State President Madan Kaushik said that the decision to leave the seat of MLA Gehtori was taken in the meeting of party workers in Chamwapat. From there the proposal came which was considered in the state and then the top leadership was informed in this regard. The decision to resign MLA Gehtodi was taken on Wednesday itself. He said that Gehtori has ruled the hearts of the people of Champawat. He took a big decision in the interest of Champawat. He also thanked Gehtori for this decision.

Twelve MLAs were ready to leave the seat: Kaushik

Many Congress MLAs were also ready to give up the seat for the CM, even then why did the BJP get the seat vacated by its MLA? In response to this question, State President Madan Kaushik said that more than twelve MLAs were ready to leave the seat for Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, but this decision has been taken in view of the sentiments of the workers of Champawat.

After leaving the MLA post, Kailash Gahatodi said that he has no personal interest behind leaving the seat. He wants Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to continue serving the state for five years. Gehtodi said – I have become 54 years old. Saw five-six chief ministers but saw such an energetic young CM for the first time.

After getting the responsibility six months before the elections, Chief Minister Dhami did a lot of development work. This led to the formation of the BJP government again. Gehtori said, before the elections someone was saying that twenty BJP seats are coming, some used to say that only 19 are coming. But on the strength of youth leadership, BJP managed to win 47 seats. Despite repeating the government, Chief Minister Dhami himself could not win.

He said that there must be some thing in Dhami that even after the defeat, the central leadership has made him the Chief Minister again. It was my responsibility to give up the seat for such an energetic youth. I come from the neighborhood seat of Khatima. The people there should also be made to realize that they have done wrong. When I told my people the desire of my mind after winning the election, the people there made me sit on their heads. I have taken this decision only due to the inspiration and love of the people.

According to Gehtodi – I have no identity of my own. The organization of which it is difficult to become a member, made me MLA twice. That’s how I got my identity. Crores of RSS volunteers make sacrifices for the country. He dedicated his whole life in the service of the country. My contribution is nothing before them. As far as legislature is concerned, it will be achieved again.

Even if it is not made, people will remember me for the development of Champawat. If Champawat develops by leaving my seat, it will be my fortune. There have been many MLAs in Champawat till date. What would I have done as an MLA? But if the Chief Minister’s feet fall in Champawat, then the winds of development will flow in that area.
