Uttar Pradesh : On the orders of CM Yogi, 11 thousand loudspeakers were removed from religious places in UP within 72 hours, the voice of 35 thousand was reduced

On the instructions of Chief Minister Adityanath, the campaign to remove illegal loudspeakers being played in violation of the norms set in the shrines continued on Wednesday as well. In the 72-hour campaign till Wednesday evening, a total of 10923 illegal loudspeakers were removed from the shrines, while the sound of 35221 loudspeakers installed at the shrines was reduced as per the prescribed standard.
On the initiative of the Chief Minister, first the loudspeakers installed in Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mathura were removed. After this, the sound of loudspeaker was reduced in the historic Gorakhnath temple of Gorakhpur. The Chief Minister had instructed that everyone has the freedom to follow his own method of worship and for this, mics and sound systems can also be used, but it should be ensured that such voices do not go outside the religious premises. On 25 April, the Home Department issued the mandate citing the order of the year 2017 by the High Court.
