Uttarakhand / Uttarkashi : Police arrested 4 month old girl’s killer father in 2 hours

On the night of May 9 last, a written Tahrir was given by Revenue Village Kunara Tehsil Mori, resident of Vadini Sunita, at police station Mori. In which she told that ‘on 09.05.2022, there was a quarrel between her husband Bajrangi and her at home. During the quarrel, her husband killed her 4-month-old daughter Komal by slapping her on the ground. On the basis of Tahrir, the case was immediately registered against the said person by Mori police under section 302 IBD. In view of the seriousness of the crime, Arpan Yaduvanshi, Superintendent of Police Uttarkashi gave proper directions to the District Officer, Barkot/SHO Mori for the arrest of the accused. Taking quick action in the case, accused Bajrangi was arrested by Mori police from Vadini’s house located in village Kunara within two hours. During interrogation it was told by the accused that he and his wife had a quarrel at home, during the quarrel he threw his daughter on the ground in anger, she died due to head injury. Information about the criminal history of the accused is being collected. Advance legal proceedings are on in the matter.
