Uttarakhand / Haldwani : 158 female candidates were successful in the recruitment examination

On the first day of Physical Efficiency Test for Female Firemen, 158 girls were successful in clearing five stages but three girls were also injured while running.

Before the physical efficiency test conducted by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission for the posts of women firemen, 400 women candidates were called in the mini stadium but only 235 candidates could reach. In the field, SSP Pankaj Bhatt, SP Crime Dr. Jagdish Chandra, CO Shantanu Parashar and CO Vibha Dixit were taking different rounds of examination. According to the jurisdictional Vibha Dixit, 38 candidates were found ineligible at the time of height and weight. After this, three in cricket ball throw, 29 in long jump failed. In running and shuttle competition all the candidates passed but in keeping five were found ineligible. After the final stage 158 candidates were declared successful.

SSP Pankaj Bhatt says that the medical of the injured candidates has been done. The date for their examination will be determined once the leg is recovered. Similarly, the physical efficiency test will be conducted on the next day also.
Many candidates did not have mountain certificate

SC-ST and hill certificate holders get relaxation in police and fireman recruitment exam. During scrutiny, many candidates did not have mountain certificates available. Because of this, it seems impossible to get them exemption.
