Even no opening pair had reached 200 in IPL in the last 15 years.

Although the record of best partnership in IPL is in the name of the pair of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, who have shared 229 and 215 runs in the IPL, but this partnership has not come while opening. Now KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock have made 210 runs in the third best partnership in the history of IPL, but considering the opening, this is the biggest partnership of IPL.

In this match, Quinton de Kock scored an unbeaten 140 runs in 70 balls with the help of 10 fours and 10 high-rise sixes, while KL Rahul scored 68 runs in 51 balls with the help of 3 fours and 4 sixes. De Kock had a strikerate of 200 in this innings, while KL Rahul scored with a strikerate of 133.33. Overall, LSG scored 210 runs in 20 overs without losing a wicket.
