Uttarakhand : Harda took charge of the by-election, Congress campaign intensified

The Congress has intensified its election campaign ahead of the by-elections to be held on May 31. Along with the state level leaders, the program of central leaders has also been released. Before Monday, Chief Minister Harish Rawat has also started campaigning by reaching Champawat. In Champawat by-election, the Congress does not want to lag behind the ruling party anywhere in the campaign. As was being propagated by some people that Congress gave walkover to BJP. Describing this fact as propaganda, the party has shown the strength to fight the elections with full force. This is the reason that all the leaders including party state president Karan Mahra, former state president Pritam Singh, deputy leader of opposition Bhuvan Kapri, Jaspur MLA Adesh Chauhan, are camping in Champawat.
At the same time, AICC in-charge Devendra Yadav’s election campaign program has also been released. In-charge Yadav will play a strategic role by staying in Champawat from May 24 to 27 and campaigning in support of the party candidate. Organization General Secretary Vijay Saraswat told that veteran leaders like former CM Kamal Nath, Digvijay Singh, former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot will also register their presence for the election campaign. However, the schedule of these leaders has not been decided yet. Central leaders’ program will be released soon.
