Another act of police in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh has come to the fore. Here a inspector registered a case of assault against a dead person first. Then the charge sheet was also filed in the court. The father of the deceased alleged that he had told the inspector that his son had died. But the inspector did not listen to him. At the same time, the relatives of the deceased approached the court regarding this matter. On the orders of the court, a case has been registered against three people including the inspector in this case.
Case registered against four people
Actually, there was a fight two years ago in a village of Auras police station area of the district. After this, the other side filed a case of assault and threatening to kill. In this, he also included the name of the deceased youth of the opposing side in the FIR. At the same time, during the investigation, the father of the deceased told the inspector that his son had died in a road accident four years ago. Therefore his name should be dropped from the trial. But where were the inspectors going to listen? Along with the three people named in the case, he also filed a charge sheet against the deceased youth and filed it in the court.
Died in a road accident
The brother of the deceased told that in 2018 his brother had died in a road accident at Prem Nagar intersection. He had given this information to the inspector, but he filed the chart sheet. When the family members of the deceased got the notice, they reached the court. He has filed a case against three people including the inspector.
Case filed on court’s order
On this whole matter, Unnao ASP Shashi Shekhar Singh said that departmental inquiry is being done. A case has been registered on the order of the court. It will be investigated on the basis of evidence. At present, departmental action is being taken.
