Uttarakhand / Haldwani : Long jam again in Ranibagh

A tourist car rammed two vehicles near Gulab Ghati on Saturday afternoon when brakes failed. Due to the accident, there was a long jam till Ranibagh and Bhimtal Tiraha bridge. The CPU removed the crashed car from the road but the common people trapped in the jam had to face trouble for hours.

Like every week, from Saturday morning, the vehicles of tourists coming from Rampur and Bareilly Road were diverted from Panchayatghar to Kaladhungi Road. Police tried to control traffic by stopping vehicles after a car fell into a gorge on Kaladhungi Road in the afternoon. The mother and daughter in the car died after falling into the ditch. Due to this, the vehicles of tourists were diverted towards other routes.

Here the brake of the car of tourists of Shahjahanpur near Ranibagh Gulab Ghati failed. The car hit a bullet parked on the side of the road and hit the car. Thankfully no one was injured in this. After this, long queues of vehicles formed in Kathgodam area. Vehicles queued up on both sides of the Bhimtal Tiraha bridge.

The CPU immediately removed the crashed car but the jam was long enough. Still, the people trapped in the jam had to face trouble in the scorching sun. The tourists were not getting water to drink. After this, the police diverted the vehicles from Nariman Tirahe towards Kaladhungi. After a lot of efforts, the police normalized the traffic. In the evening, there was a jam again due to the increase in the number of tourists vehicles. Police diverted vehicles at Bhimtal Tirahe but was not getting much success.
