Inspector NK Bhatt of Dalanwala Kovatali said that on April 1, the body of elderly Surendra Kumar Jaiswal was found from inside his house located in Karanpur market.

The old man was living alone in his residence in Karanpur, apart from his family, for 25 years. On April 1, a suspect was seen coming out of the house after checking the CCTV cameras installed around the house. On taking information from the workers engaged in the construction work at the house of the deceased, he identified the person as Rahul Kumar, whom the deceased used to call his nephew.

On checking the call details of the deceased, Rahul Kumar resident of village Nagla Faujdar district Bharatpur Rajasthan was found to be involved in the incident. On Saturday, the police team arrested the accused from Bhiwadi district, Alwar Rajasthan.

According to Inspector Bhatt, during interrogation, the accused told that he was identified with the elderly Surendra Kumar Jaiswal about five-six years ago in Govardhan Mathura. During this, Surendra Singh, who died in Mathura, pressured Rahul to do wrong things and in return also gave money. Rahul’s financial condition was not good, so he agreed to this work.

On March 30, the elder called to Dehradun by pressurizing Rahul

Three-four months ago, Rahul came to Haridwar in search of work and started working in SIDCUL. Even after this, the old man started blackmailing him. On March 30, the elder called Rahul to Dehradun by pressurizing him and on April 1, when Rahul started going to work, the elder pressured him to have a relationship again. Enraged, the accused strangled the old man to death with the lace of the bag and fled.

The elderly could not live without Rahul

The old man’s closeness with Rahul had increased so much that he could not live without him. Some time ago, when Rahul refused to have a relationship, the elderly reached Rahul’s house in Rajasthan. Threatened to defame them in front of the villagers if the relationship was not made.
