Relief on gas cylinder, big cut in commercial LPG prices

Those who use commercial cylinders have got a big relief from the government today. From June 1, i.e. today, there has been a huge cut in the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder. Cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 135 from today. Petroleum company Indian Oil has cut the rate of commercial cylinders by Rs 135. After which the cylinder will be cheaper by Rs 135 and will be available in Delhi at the rate of Rs 2219 per cylinder.

After the reduction in the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 135 per cylinder, the rate of cylinder has gone up to Rs 2322 in Kolkata, Rs 2171.50 in Mumbai and Rs 2373 in Chennai. However, there is no change in the rates of domestic LPG cylinders. Therefore, domestic consumers will have to loose as much pocket as before on 14.2 kg cylinder.

Let us tell you that earlier the prices of commercial LPG cylinders have also increased in April and May. In March itself, a 19 kg cylinder was priced at Rs 2012 in Delhi, it had reached Rs 2253 on 1 April. At the same time, on May 1, there was an increase of Rs 102 in its prices. After this, the 19 kg commercial cylinder was priced at Rs 2354.

Aviation turbine fuel prices cut

According to the IndianOil website, the Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices in Delhi for domestic airlines have been reduced from Rs. Now the new price of ATF has become 121,475 per kiloliter. On May 16, 2022, IndianOil had increased the price of ATF in Delhi by 5.3%.

Due to the rising inflation in the country, the general public is very upset. The rising prices of cylinders from above have added to the problems of the people. But some people must have got relief due to the reduction in the price of commercial cylinders. But still the domestic gas consumer is hoping for relief on the 14.2 kg cylinder used in the homes, so that the burden on their pockets can be reduced a bit.
