America gave knowledge to India on minorities, Home Ministry reminded gun culture

America, which has given knowledge on human rights to the whole world, released a report on international religious freedom a few days ago. In that report, it was said about India that there were many attacks on minorities in 2021. It was also claimed that violence was committed against non-Hindus in India in the name of cow protection. Now America has been given a befitting reply from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has described it as America’s vote bank politics. They say that we have seen a report on the international religious freedom of America. It is sad that even in the midst of international relations, vote bank politics is coming in the way. Statements that are motivated by bias should be avoided as part of the review. Now in its reply, India has also raised the issue of gun culture in America. Arindam Bagchi has said about this that the freedom of all has always been taken care of in India. Whenever we have talks with America, we always raise the issue of discrimination in the name of white and black there, also mention hate crime and gun-induced violence.

Now the Ministry of Home Affairs has raised the issue of gun culture and has done the work of showing a mirror to America itself. There have been major incidents of shootings in America for the last several days. In Texas, innocent children were fired upon, in which more than 20 students died. Apart from this, discrimination has also been seen on the Muslim community in America from time to time in many places. Pew Research Center conducted a survey in 2009, 2014, 2017, 2019 and again in 2021. In that survey, American people were asked, which community people in your view have to suffer the most discrimination, which is the class that is facing problems on religious grounds. The American people have only one opinion in this survey and they are Muslims. Other communities such as Jews, Christians, Mormons are also not treated equally, but the Muslim society faces the most problems.

Now it is not that only one survey points in this direction. The Institute for Social Policy and Understanding also prepared a detailed report in the year 2020. Even then it was said prominently that the Muslim society is becoming the victim of the most discrimination. It was also told in that report that if a Muslim person takes entry at the American airport as compared to other religions, then he is seen with suspicion and he has to face more challenges.
