The government has made it clear that no government employee will be transferred from the Valley to Jammu. BJP objected to transfer list leak
At the same time, the BJP on Saturday took strong objection to the transfer list of Kashmiri Pandit employees being made public and called it a breach in security, demanding action against the officials responsible for it. According to the list, 177 Kashmiri Pandit teachers who got employment under the Prime Minister’s Rehabilitation Package have been transferred. The list of transfers is being shared on WhatsApp and other social media platforms.
BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur said in a statement, “The making of the transfer list public on social media platforms is a major security breach as now the terrorists will have a clear idea of where they have been posted.” He urged the government to take strict action in the matter of the leak of the list and trace those who have made the list public at a time when selective killings are being committed in the Kashmir Valley.
