Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday inaugurated Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd. and Power Transmission Corporation of Ltd. Inaugurated 13 projects completed by These projects include 13 of UPCL and 02 of PIDKUL. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that today important projects have been dedicated to the public. He said that Uttarakhand has many possibilities in the field of energy. Everyone will have to make collective efforts to make Uttarakhand an energy state. Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is the origin of Ganga and Yamuna. The state has immense potential for hydropower. There is a need to act fast in this area. Source of energy is important in the revenue sources of the state. Continuous efforts are being made by the government for speedy work on hydroelectric projects in the state. The Chief Minister said that along with energy, work will have to be done in other areas as well.
The Chief Minister said that the energy sector is important for self-reliant Uttarakhand. He said that efforts should be made to minimize the roasting of electricity. The time of roasting being done should be fixed. He directed the officers that strict action should be taken on complaints of electricity meters, electricity bills. The Chief Minister said that a new work culture has come in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Work is being done on the mantra of simplification, solution, disposal and satisfaction for speedy resolution of public problems in the state. He said that by doing any work, the feeling of satisfaction will come in the mind only when the work is done with full devotion.
Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that important projects of the state were inaugurated by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Under his leadership, the state government is working fast for the overall development of the state. He said that Uttarakhand has many possibilities in the field of energy. Special attention is also needed in the field of solar energy. In the field of energy in Uttarakhand, it is necessary to make plans in view of the hill state.
