Will Yogi’s bulldozer stop in UP? Hearing on petition in Supreme Court tomorrow

After the incidents of violence in UP, the Yogi government has taken action of bulldozer. The Supreme Court will hear on Thursday the petition of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, filed for a stay on the action of bulldozers on the properties of the accused. Along with this, the court will also hear against the operation of bulldozers in the premises of the mosque in the Jahangirpuri case of Delhi.
The Supreme Court will hear two applications of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind. A bench of Justice AS Bopanna and Justice Vikram Nath will hear these petitions.

The petition was filed by Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind

Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind had filed a petition in the Supreme Court after the action on the property of Javed Ahmed in Prayagraj. Knocking the doors of the Supreme Court, the organization has demanded that the court direct the UP government to ensure that no further demolition is carried out without following due process. Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind has said in its application that the law enacted by the Uttar Pradesh government and the municipal laws should be directed to take action against the officials responsible for the houses demolished in violation of it.

After the violence, the government had adopted a tough stand

The petitioner said that the present situation is more worrying, the Supreme Court had already ordered a stay on the demolition being carried out in North West Delhi in similar circumstances as a punitive measure. Let us inform that after the violence on Friday (June 10) in many areas of Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government has taken a tough stand.

Opposition stood against bulldozer action

A political uproar has also started on the properties of those who spread violence in UP. The opposition called it a violation of law and questioned the action of the administration. At the same time, BJP leaders are justifying such action, they are telling strict action only as the answer to the miscreants.
