Mamat Banerjee’s TMC links Shinzo Abe murder case to Agneepath scheme
Trinamool Congress mouthpiece ‘Jago Bangla’ in its Bengali article titled ‘Killing of Shizo in Agneepath Chhaya’ has linked the assassination of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe with the newly launched Agneepath scheme for defense recruitment in India. The article stated that the killing of Shinzo Abe would strengthen resistance against India’s Agneepath plan because the man who killed Abe served in the military without pension.
The mouthpiece reads “It is important that the central government is also trying to recruit the same number of people into the army, which has caused a massive stir in the entire country. Under this scheme people will be in the job for only 4.5 years.” There will be no pension and no other benefits after retirement.
In a shocking incident on Friday, Shinzo Abe was shot by 41-year-old Tetsuya Yamagami. Abe was giving a speech in the city of Nara. After a few hours the former prime minister was pronounced dead.
The world mourns the death of Shinzo Abe. The police have arrested a 41-year-old man. The police claimed to have hit Abe with a hand-made pistol. According to Japanese media, Yamagami did not attempt to flee the scene. He told investigators that he was dissatisfied with Abe and wanted to kill him. However, he was not offended by Abe’s political beliefs.
