Uttarakhand: CM Dhami inaugurates Akshaya Patra Integrated Kitchen, delicious and nutritious “meal” of “Mid Day” will reach 35 thousand students

DEHRADUN: CM Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the 63rd Centralized Mid-Day Meal Kitchen in collaboration with Akshaya Patra, Foundation, The Hans Foundation and Education Department at Sudhowala Dehradun on Friday.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister flagged off vehicles for transporting mid-day meals to children of different schools. On this occasion, the Chief Minister sat with the school children and had food. During this, the children asked questions to the Chief Minister to fulfill their curiosities. The Chief Minister fulfilled all the curiosities of the children.

On the occasion of the inauguration of the centralized kitchen, the Chief Minister caressed a small girl child. The Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that due to the collective efforts of the Government of Uttarakhand, Akshaya Patra Foundation and Hans Foundation, high quality and nutritious food was introduced to the children. Is. Right now this mid-day meal has been started for more than 15 thousand children of 120 schools. In the coming time, food will be arranged for more than 35 thousand children of more than 500 schools through centralized kitchens. The Chief Minister said that children are the future of the country. Every effort is being made to ensure that children have a healthy life and get proper nutrition.Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that commendable work is being done by Hans Foundation in the field of health and education. During the Corona period, all possible help was given by Hans Foundation to the needy in the state, for which the Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to the founder of Hans Foundation, Shri Bhole Ji Maharaj and Mangla Ji Mata. The Chief Minister said that Akshaypatra Foundation has also started the work of service in Devbhoomi, for which he thanked the office bearers of Akshaypatra Foundation.

Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that with the help of Akshaya Patra, Foundation, The Hans Foundation and Education Department, a centralized kitchen has been started. Delicious and nutritious food will be served to school children under the Prime Minister’s Nutrition Program. Mid-day meals are provided by the government to more than five lakh children in the state. Dr. Rawat said that with the joint efforts of Hans Foundation and Akshaya Patra Foundation, the second integrated kitchen has been started in the state today, before that the operation of integrated kitchen has been started in Gadarpur. The state government is providing free books, bags, to the children from class one to class X. Along with this, all kinds of arrangements are being made in the schools so that the children do not face any problem in their studies. Dr. Rawat informed that free medicines were provided to 22 lakh children in a month. Free health check-up of the children will be done when the school opens, along with free medicines will also be given to them.

The program was organized by the founder of Hans Foundation, Bhole ji Maharaj, Mata Mangala ji, Vice Chairman of Akshaya Patra Foundation, Mr. Chanchalapati Das, MLA and former Education Minister Mr. Arvind Pandey, MLA Mr. Sahdev Pundir, Mr. Munna Singh Chouhan, Secretary Mr. R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Director General of Education Shri Vanshidhar Tiwari and officers of the Education Department were present.
