Another film made on cricket, Dhadam, this was the result of Taapsee’s hard work at the box office

The film could also have been an incidental account of cricket in the life of a Bharatnatyam student and all the more so from the life of Mithali Raj, who could have been placed at the center of the promotion of the film. Film made at a cost of 30 crores
The first day collection of the film ‘Shabash Mithu’, made in about Rs 30 crore, which seems to be a victim of bad marketing, does not seem to reach even Rs 1 crore. According to the initial figures received on Friday night, the film has earned only Rs 80 lakh at the box office across the country. Along with this, the collection of the film ‘Hit the First Case’ released has been slightly better and around Rs 1.40 crore. The box office future of both these films has started looking hazy from now on due to the very weak opening that both the films got.

Taapsee has become an OTT heroine
Taapsee Pannu is the heroine of the film ‘Shabash Mithu’ and there is no other strong artist in it except Vijay Raj. And, with Taapsee Pannu’s last five films releasing on OTT continuously, her fans have also become accustomed to watching her sitting at home. Cricket enthusiasts did not take the theater route and fans of Taapsee Pannu are waiting for the film to hit OTT. This is the story of the box office future of the film ‘Shabash Mithu’. Taapsee’s last theatrical release was ‘Thappad’ which got an opening of Rs 2.89 crore on the first day.
