Ranveer Singh, who got nude photoshoot, may face problems, complaint filed in Mumbai
The troubles of Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh may increase. A complaint has been filed against him in Mumbai. An application was filed with Mumbai Police on Monday seeking registration of an FIR against Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh for “hurting sentiments of women” through his nude pictures on social media, a Mumbai Police official said. According to the information, the complainant is senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and advocate Akhilesh Choubey. He is also an office-bearer of a non-governmental organization (NGO).
The officer said that the complainant said that the actor has hurt the sentiments of women with his photographs and insulted their modesty. The complainant has sought registration of a case against the actor under various sections of the Information Technology Act and the Indian Penal Code. “We have received an application from a person associated with an NGO on Monday, though no FIR has been registered so far. We are inquiring,” the official said.
Let us tell you that Ranveer Singh recently exploded the internet by sharing pictures from a photoshoot. The actor posed for the photo while sitting and lying on the carpet in the viral photo series for Paper Magazine. The photoshoot is a tribute to 70s pop icon Burt Reynolds, who went nude during a 1972 shoot for Cosmopolitan magazine. While Ranveer’s fans are praising his confidence, memes are also being made on social media about him. Huh.
