National Anti-Doping Bill passed in Lok Sabha, suspended MPs will sit on dharna for 50 hours
The uproar of the opposition continues on the eighth day of Parliament today. Due to this uproar, the proceedings of both the houses have to be adjourned time and again. Apart from this, a sit-in demonstration of 19 MPs who were suspended yesterday in Rajya Sabha has also started. At the same time, the Congress is also protesting against the ED’s questioning of Sonia Gandhi.
Suspended MPs will sit on dharna for 50 hours
All opposition parties have expressed solidarity with a total of 24 suspended MPs, including 20 Rajya Sabha MPs and 4 Lok Sabha MPs. The dharna will continue day and night for 50 hours till their suspension is withdrawn. Suspended MPs will sit on dharna for 50 hours day and night at the Gandhi statue in Parliament.
