The gap on Mars is 20 times bigger than America’s Grand Canyon

The gap of Mars is bigger than America
The European Space Agency’s Mars Express unveils the giant Valles Marineris valley in stunning new photos. This valley is 4000 km long. Its width is 200 km and depth is 6.5 km. By comparison, its length is more than America. Images from the European Space Agency show two trenches or spectacles.

These trenches form part of the western part, which is a part of the western part of Valles Marineris. On the left is the 838 km long Lus and on the right is the 804 km long Tithonium Chasma.
Mont Blanc, the highest mountain of the Alps in Europe, is 15,000 feet above sea level. If he is put in Tithonium glasses, he will look like a dwarf. The length of the Grand Canyon is 445 km. Whereas the width is 28 km.
