Uttarakhand / Rudrapur : Intercity buses will stop at DD Chowk
Municipal Corporation, Transport and Police Administration inspected DD Chowk for intercity bus operation through SIDCUL. Also took stock of the traffic system for the stoppage of intercity bus.
On Friday, Municipal Corporation Mayor Rampal Singh, ARTO Vipin Kumar and CO City Abhay Singh along with the officials of Intercity Bus Union inspected DD Chowk. Pandit Sr. Agreed to make a stopover at the trial base near Ram Sumer Shukla Park. Along with this, instructions were also given to the bus drivers to park only one bus stop at a time. ARTO Vipin Kumar said that in view of the problem of traffic arrangement of personnel in SIDCUL area, intercity buses will now operate inside SIDCUL area as well. For this, the operation of buses has to be trialled. During this intercity bus coming from Haldwani will also reach DD Chowk via SIDCUL. Where the driver will drop the passengers and take other passengers and leave from DD Chowk back to Haldwani via Sidkul.
