The youth died after falling from a two-storey house in suspicious circumstances on Wednesday morning. Police sent the body for post-mortem. It is being told that five days ago, the young man had taken a room on rent in Kheda Nai Basti. Police has sent the body for post-mortem. Police is treating it as an accident. Originally resident of village Teri Khwaja police station Khajuria district Rampur (UP), Mohd. Islam (20) used to work in a factory in SIDCUL. About five days ago, Islam had rented a room at Naushad’s house in Kheda Nai Basti. He lived there with his relative. According to the police, at around 3 am on Wednesday, they received information that Islam’s body was lying on the road below near his room.
During interrogation, it was found that Naushad has two houses in Kheda. Islam also lived in a house with several tenants. At the same time, leaving two houses nearby, Naushad has another house, where Islam’s bed and mobile phone have been found on the roof. It is being speculated that Islam was sleeping there. Islam’s body was found under the neighbor’s house. During interrogation, the police came to know that he had gone to the house next to where Islam was sleeping at around 2 pm, where a tenant staying told that Islam was standing outside their door during the night.

The Kotwali police have speculated that Islam may have retreated amid a scuffle between the two and that he might have died after falling from the railing. Police said that in the two-storey from where Islam has fallen, a young man lived with his family. Nowadays the relatives of the young man have also come. The police have started extracting the call details by taking possession of Islam’s mobile phone. However, the police have not received any complaint so far.

Landlord fined
Even after running a campaign for verification of tenants, people are not becoming aware. Police said that Islam was not even verified. In such a situation, the police has imposed a fine of five thousand rupees against the landlord.
