West Bengal : Arpita Mukherjee’s mother lived in a 50-year-old dilapidated house, a ‘mountain’ of money found from her daughter’s luxury homes

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) may have raided luxury homes of Arpita Mukherjee, but her ancestral home in North 24 Parganas remained out of the limelight. Minati Mukherjee lives alone in this dilapidated house built 50 years ago. Arpita Mukherjee, who was arrested by the ED in the recruitment scam, used to visit her ailing mother and spend 2-3 hours with her. People around the house say that Arpita had arranged for two helpers to help her mother in her daily chores.

Minati Mukherjee said, “If she had followed my instructions, I would have married her. Her father was in government service, so she could have got that job. But she was not interested. She left this house long ago.” was.” He said that Arpita wanted to work in films and television shows.

Responding to the ED probe, Arpita’s mother said, “I heard about it in the news. I don’t know anything about money. These are legal issues. I will try to ask her about it.”
