Badrinath Highway opened after 18 hours in Lambagad
Badrinath Highway was restored after 18 hours at Lambagad. The stranded passengers breathed a sigh of relief when the highway opened. Badrinath Highway was closed at 12.30 pm on Sunday due to overflowing drain in Lambagad. Due to the closure of the highway, about one thousand passengers going to Badrinath Dham were stopped at Pandukeshwar and Govindghat, while about 700 passengers from Badrinath side were also stopped from going forward.

BRO’s JCB after a lot of effort opened the highway for vehicles at 6.30 am on Monday morning. After this the passengers left for the destination. BRO Commander Manish Kapil said that the highway was being obstructed due to frequent rain water coming in Lambagad, due to which now pipes have been laid here. This will allow rain water to drain out.
