Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Police disclosed different theft cases in 24 hours, accused arrested
Banphulpura police has uncovered a case of theft within 24 hours. On Wednesday night, the police arrested an accused in connection with the theft of ₹ 300000 jewelery and ₹ 109000 by breaking the lock in the house of Babu Saifi, resident of Banbhulpura ward number 30 Noori Masjid. From whose possession the police have recovered one lakh ₹9000 cash including a gold necklace, three rings and a pair of gold earrings.
Banbhulpura police station in-charge Neeraj Bhakuni told that the victim had filed a case in the matter. After which the police started investigation on the basis of informer and CCTV camera in the whole case. After which Salamuddin alias Sahil, a resident of Gojajali, was arrested near Dream International School with stolen goods. In the entire case, action has been taken to register a case against the accused and send him to jail. Also, the criminal history of the accused is being investigated. The police is also engaged in interrogating the accused about other incidents.
88 thousand cash, mangalsutra, a pendant, a pair of pajeb, a neck chain, a pair of bedweeds, two watches and two mobiles have been recovered from the accused. The accused has given his name as Salim resident Milanagar Dandhera.
