On the completion of three years of removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the Organization of Muslim countries said again OIC

The central government had abolished the special status of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019. Today, three years have been completed of this decision. In such a situation, on the completion of three years of the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation ( Organization of Islamic Cooperation) has put the Government of India in the dock.
In a series of tweets, the OIC said, “August 5th 2022 completes three years of illegal and unilateral action in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir. After this, several additional illegal steps were taken in Kashmir including illegal demographic changes. Such illegal steps can neither change the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir nor can it take away the legitimate right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people.
The OIC recalled the Islamic Summit on Jammu and Kashmir and the proposal of the Council of Foreign Ministers, saying that we support and stand by the Kashmiri people for their legitimate right to self-determination.

Pakistan PM targets India
On this occasion, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also targeted India, saying that today is the third anniversary of India’s illegal and unilateral action taken on August 5, 2019, aimed at changing the international recognition of the disputed issue of Jammu and Kashmir and The demographic structure of Kashmir has to be changed.

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan surrounded the Modi government
Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan also spewed venom against India, saying that on August 5, 2019, the Modi government violated the UN Security Council Preamble and international laws by illegally abolishing the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
On 5 Aug 2019 Modi govt violated UN SC resolutions & int law by illegally revoking Special Status of IIOJK. Modi govt then moved to commit a war crime under Fourth Geneva Convention by altering demography of IIOJK. They assumed the moves would crush spirit of Kashmiri resistance

Khan said that the Modi government has committed a crime like the Fourth Geneva Treaty by changing the demography of Jammu and Kashmir. The Modi government believed that by doing this they would crush the voice of the Kashmiri people.
