The suggestions given by the Lieutenant Governor were also included – Sisodia
Sisodia said, “In the new excise policy of 2021, we had said that only 849 shops will be kept, but their distribution will be kept in the same manner. In May 2021, the cabinet passed, after which the Lieutenant Governor made some suggestions, they were also included and it was said that the number of shops in Delhi will not be increased, but will be kept uniformly throughout Delhi, which had illegal colonies. LG Sahib passed it twice without any objection, but when the proposal to open the shops was sent on November 2021, the shops were to be opened from November 17, but 2 days ago i.e. on November 15, the Lieutenant Governor added a new condition to unauthorized areas. I should get approval from MCD and DDA, while they have been giving approval earlier also.

Government has lost thousands of crores of revenue- Sisodia
Sisodia said, “Due to the sudden change of stand of LG, shops could not open in unauthorized colonies, they went to court. The court said that fees should not be charged from them, due to which the government lost thousands of crores of revenue. Due to this change, shops were not found in many places, whose opening benefited them a lot. I am sending documents to CBI for investigation of this matter. Due to this LG’s decision, thousands of crores of rupees have been lost to the government and shopkeepers have benefited.

What was said on the increasing corona cases in Delhi?
