New way of protesting against Modi! CM Nitish-KCR made distance from the meeting of NITI Aayog

Today there will be a meeting of NITI Aayog at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the capital Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over this meeting. Many officials, including Chief Ministers of many states, lieutenant governors of union territories are to attend the meeting. But before the meeting of the NITI Aayog, politics has intensified on this. In fact, some Chief Ministers have shied away from attending the meeting by giving different reasons. The latest name in this is that of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

KCR refused to attend the meeting

In the meeting of NITI Aayog, plans are prepared for the future of the country. But the policies that are prepared for the future of the country also have to pass through political corridors. The meeting being held for the first time after the year 2019 has also got stuck in the political vortex. Because even in this meeting, the tussle between the Center and the states has come in the middle. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao refused to attend the meeting. He wrote a letter to the Prime Minister saying, ‘India can develop as a strong nation only when the states are developed. Only strong and economically vibrant states can make India a strong country. I will stay away from this meeting against the present stand of the Central Government of discriminating against the states and not treating them as equal partners in our collective effort to make India a strong and developed country.

BJP retaliated

It is noteworthy that in Hyderabad last month, the BJP held a two-day national executive meeting. In this meeting too, the tussle between BJP and TRS came to the fore. Not only this, recently KCR appeared against the Center on many fronts including the presidential candidate. However, BJP has retaliated on KCR’s decision not to attend the meeting. Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that KCR considers himself Nizam. That’s why they have nothing to do with the discussion on the development of the state and the country.

CM Nitish Kumar will also not attend

But KCR is not alone among the Chief Ministers who did not attend this meeting. Earlier, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has also avoided this meeting. The distance between BJP and JDU was also seen in the BJP executive meeting held in Patna last week, when Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President were in Patna. But neither did Nitish go for the executive meeting nor did senior BJP leaders meet him. However, it is being told that due to corona being infected, CM Nitish Kumar is not attending this meeting.
