US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Saturday that China should not hinder talks on important global issues such as the climate crisis. His remarks come at a time when China is angered by US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan and on Friday cut off contact with the US on important issues including military affairs and climate cooperation. “We should not hinder cooperation on matters of global concern because of differences between our two countries,” Blinken said.
