Uttarakhand / Haldwani : Guldar pounces on soldier near Kaleshwar temple, back and head injuries

The terror of Guldar is not taking its name to end. Whether it is Kumaon or Garhwal, news of wildlife and human conflict is becoming common everywhere. Now the Naib Subedar of Garhwal Rifles has been attacked by Guldar from behind. The Subedar suffered injuries on his back and head in the incident that took place near the Kaleshwar temple in Lansdowne. But fortunately, the matter did not come to his life.

According to the information, Naib Subedar Suresh Kumar posted in Garhwal Rifles was going for PT on Tuesday. Then near Kaleshwar temple, Guldar attacked Naib Subedar from behind. When the people present in the temple heard the noise, they made a hue and cry. Due to which Guldar released the soldier and fled from there.

It is worth noting that the soldier’s back was injured due to the nail marks of Guldar. Apart from this, he has also suffered a head injury. Forest Officer BD Tiwari gave information and told that a cage is being set up to catch the guldar. After this incident, there is an atmosphere of fear in the nearby areas as well. Patrolling is being done continuously in the evening by the Forest Department.
