Earth shivering in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda, magnitude 3.9 on Richter scale

Earthquake tremors were felt in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda on Tuesday night. The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 3.9 on the Richter scale. There is no loss of life and property in this earthquake. In the past, earthquake tremors were felt in Bhi valley. The tremors of these earthquakes coming continuously have put people in worry.
At this time, apart from Jammu and Kashmir, tremors of earthquake have been felt in Rajasthan and Maharashtra also. Earthquake tremors were felt thrice in Maharashtra’s Nashik on August 17. The intensity of these aftershocks was 3.4, 2.1 and 1.9. However, there was no loss of life or property of any kind then. Due to the tremors of three consecutive earthquakes, people had come out of their homes for a long time in fear.
Similarly, there was an earthquake of 4.1 magnitude in Rajasthan too. On August 20, an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 was felt in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
