Jharkhand: In the midst of political crisis, CM Hemant Soren said – he is the son of a tribal, will not be afraid

There is turmoil in the politics in Jharkhand these days. In the case of mining lease, the Election Commission after investigation has sent its report to the Governor of Jharkhand. In this, Chief Minister Hemant has been disqualified for the post of MLA. That is, he has recommended the cancellation of his legislature. Meanwhile, CM Hemant Soren has also expressed his intentions. He tweeted and said that this is the son of a tribal. Our path has never stopped due to their tricks, nor are we ever afraid of these people.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that our ancestors had removed the fear from our mind long back. There is no place for fear and fear in the DNA of us tribals. At the same time, CM Soren said that “satanic forces” are trying to destabilize the democratically elected government. But he will fight till the last drop of his blood.
‘People gave the mandate to rule’
Speaking at a government function in Latehar, Soren said he was not worried as he was given the mandate to rule the state by the people and not by his opponents. He said that our opponents are misusing the constitutional institutions, they are not able to compete with us politically. They are also using ED, CBI, Lokpal and Income Tax to destabilize our government. But we are not worried about it at all.
‘Put the agencies behind me’
Attacked BJP in CM Soren program. He said that ‘What did the Center ask for dues of Rs 1 lakh 36 thousand crore to the state, they put the agencies behind me to harass me. When they saw that I could not do anything, Respected Guruji (Shibu Soren) who is standing at an old age, is trying to reach me by harassing them.
‘Gang of external forces active in Jharkhand’
CM Hemant Soren said that a gang of outside forces is active inside Jharkhand. This gang had vowed to destroy the state for the last 20 years. When they were overthrown in 2019, those conspirators cannot tolerate that if we stay here, their time is going to be difficult. Our opponents are misusing constitutional institutions. But we are not worried about it.
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha in search of alternative
According to Raj Bhavan sources, the Governor can take a decision on the opinion of the Election Commission on the disqualification of Hemant Soren. Even before that the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is looking for other options. So on Friday, Hemant Soren took a meeting of all the UPA MLAs in Jharkhand. During this discussion was held with CM Hemant Soren. In fact, the Election Commission had sent its recommendation to the Governor on the allegations of Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren being on the office of profit, in which the EC has also recommended the cancellation of Hemant Soren’s assembly membership.
What’s the matter?
Hemant Soren had got a mining lease of 0.88 acres of land in Anagada block of Ranchi district. According to the documents, Hemant Soren applied on 28 May 2021 and he got approval on 15 June 2021. After this, approval was sought from the Environment Department on 9 September, which was received on 22 September. On February 11, 2022, BJP met the Governor and complained that it is a matter of office of profit and CM cannot take mining lease in his own name. After this Hemant Soren separated himself by surrendering the lease on 11 February 2022. The corruption of the Hemant Soren government in the mining business began to be exposed when the Enforcement Directorate started raids on the premises of Pooja Singhal, who was the mining secretary of Jharkhand. The ED had received Rs 17 and a half crore in cash from the same hideout of Pooja Singhal’s CA Suman Kumar. This amount was so much that it took 14 hours to count. Quoting ED sources, it was claimed that the investment of about Rs 150 crore of Pooja Singhal and her close friends was disclosed and many important documents were also found.
