Uttarakhand / Pithoragarh: Three arrested with raw and illegal English liquor
The police conducted raids in various parts of the district to prevent illegal liquor. During this, the police and SOG team arrested a bike rider Vijendra Bahadur Jakh resident on Panda Bypass with 20 bottles of illegal English liquor. Taking action, the police seized the bike. At the same time, in Dwaiseera Peepli, the police arrested local resident Umesh Kumar with 10 liters of raw liquor while Ganesh Prasad was arrested from a hotel in Siltham with 36 pavs. Action was taken against all three under the Excise Act. This action of the police has stirred the liquor mafia.
