Uttarakhand : 13 recruitment examinations are under suspicion, the restlessness of lakhs of candidates increased, know which recruitment examinations are in trouble?
UKSSSC Paper Leak: The last 13 recruitment exams of UKSSSC are in doubt. STF and Vigilance are probing them. On the other hand, the blame of rigging in the recruitment examinations has also started falling on the officers of the commission. Former secretary Santosh Badoni has been suspended, while the role of former controller of examination Narayan Singh Dangi is in doubt.
The restlessness of about six lakh candidates increased
- In the midst of all this, the seven proposed recruitment examinations of the Commission to fill 4282 posts in various government departments are in danger.
- This has also increased the anxiety of about six lakh candidates who have applied for these recruitment examinations.
- These candidates are not even able to prepare for the examination properly after the all-round trouble of the commission.
- Along with this, there are different types of apprehensions in their mind about the correctness of the examinations. No one seems to be able to solve them.
- The reason is that at present there is no such system with the commission, through which it can conduct the examination.
- So far, the owner and four employees of the company, which is handling the responsibility of printing the question papers of the recruitment examinations and conducting the examination, have been arrested.
- After this, all the work has been taken away from the company by the commission and preparations are on to blacklist the company.
- On the other hand, the new officers of the Commission, who recently took over the responsibility, are also bewildered by the recent developments.
- To eliminate the dilemma of the youth and their apprehensions about their image, the commission should take steps in this direction by selecting a new company for the examination as soon as possible.
Examinations in dispute since the formation of the commission
- Since the formation of the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission, the recruitment examinations in the state have been in controversy.
- After the formation of the commission, two chairmen appointed in about eight years resigned before the completion of their term.
- In the year 2015-16, in the examination for 192 posts of Gram Panchayat Development Officer, there were allegations of filling some OMR sheets in the commission. The unemployed created a ruckus across the state regarding this.
- The then president RBS Rawat (Sen.) resigned taking moral responsibility for this. This examination was conducted by the commission later.

- The written examination has been conducted to fill 272 posts of Police Telecom Head Constable, the academic documents are yet to be scrutinised.
The cases of leaking UKSSSC papers and cheating for huge money have not only put a dent on the future of lakhs of youth who have appeared for the exam, but have also increased the uneasiness of the candidates appearing for the proposed seven recruitment exams. They have doubts about the conduct of the upcoming examinations. Till now no date of examinations has been fixed by UKSSSC.

Three and a half lakh candidates are going through a period of deep mental stress. Preparing for recruitment exams in advance is not easy at present. There is despair and restlessness in the youth section due to the uncovering of each and every rigging case in the previous examinations.
