Uttar Pradesh / Aligarh : Unmarried gave birth to a child on the railway station platform, refused to take the child, said – I am not married

An unmarried girl going to Gorakhpur by train gave birth to a baby boy on platform number 4 of Aligarh Junction on Monday. On being informed, the GRP Police has admitted the girl to the Women’s District Hospital in Aligarh. Both the child and the mother of the child are healthy. The mother of the same child has refused to take her child after giving birth. The unmarried girl says that she is not married yet, she is unmarried and she cannot raise this child. Chief Medical Officer Renu Sharma told that this girl was going from Delhi to Gorakhpur.
On the way, her labor pains started. And it was delivered. Now she does not want to take the child. The doctor has told that the girl says that I am unmarried right now, so I cannot take the child. I’m single, I can’t handle this alone. The doctor told that a son has been born to the young man. The hospital has given information to the child helpline and the child will be handed over to them. Both the child and the mother of the child are healthy. The child is currently kept in the SNCU ward.
Delivery done at railway station itself
Giving information, RPF Sub Inspector Dheeraj Chaudhary, who helped the same woman, said that we were on patrol at the station, when a pregnant woman was moaning in pain. After which the RPF team, while helping the pregnant woman, laid siege with the help of the female police by lying on the stretcher and got the woman admitted to the Mohanlal Gautam Women’s Hospital.
Dheeraj Chaudhary says that as soon as the RPF police came to know about this, all the men and women of RPF police started helping the woman and immediately the woman was delivered at the railway station itself and after that she was admitted to the women’s hospital. It has been done where both the mother and the child are healthy.
