Advance booking of Brahmastra leaves ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ behind
When director Ayan Mukerji announced ‘Brahmastra’ for the first time, ever since then the public was very excited for this new type of film. On Friday, the booking of ‘Brahmastra’ started only from IMAX 3D format, and from Saturday morning, the normal 3D show gradually opened for booking. Till Tuesday morning, more than 1.5 lakh tickets of ‘Brahmastra’ have been sold for the opening day. With this booking, the film has made a gross collection of Rs 5.46 crore in advance itself.
If block seats are also included in this, then ‘Brahmastra’ has earned Rs 7.67 crore from advance booking. According to this spectacular trend, ‘Brahmastra’ can make some big records with advance booking and opening collection.
Broken record of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’
‘Brahmastra’, which has sold more than 1.5 lakh tickets for the first day, has collected the biggest earning from advance booking for Bollywood this year. So far in 2022, ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ had the highest gross collection from advance booking. Karthik Aryan’s film earned Rs 6.55 crore (including block seats) from advance booking. ‘Brahmastra’, which is going to release on September 9, has earned Rs 7.67 crore till the morning of 6th. And now Ranbir-Alia’s film is the highest grossing Bollywood film in 2022 from advance booking.
Biggest opening of bollywood in 2022
If the Hindi versions of films like RRR and KGF 2 made in the South’s film industries are removed, then this year Karthik Aryan’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ got the best opening at the box office from the Hindi film industry. The film had a collection of Rs 14.11 crore on the first day.
Looking at the gesture from the advance booking of ‘Brahmastra’, many experts of Bollywood business are estimating the opening of the film to be 20-25 crores. Accordingly, Ranbir-Alia’s film ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ is going to have a lot more opening collection.

In 2018, ‘Sanju’ was the biggest opening film of Ranbir’s career. The film collected Rs 34.75 crore on the first day at the box office. After this ‘Besharam’ comes at number two. But the opening collection of SS Rajamouli’s RRR can cross ‘Brahmastra’. Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR had a collection of about 20 crores on the first day in Hindi.
