Uttarakhand : Desire to become Agniveer extinguished the light of ‘Deepak’, one mistake put him behind bars

The desire to join the army extinguished Deepak’s hope. Forgery cost him dearly and had to go behind the bars. Deepak first made a fake certificate, after that, according to this certificate, he changed the date of birth in the Aadhar card.

Deepak, a young man who came with a fake certificate in the Agniveer army recruitment, was caught on Tuesday. His high school mark sheet and birth certificate had different dates of birth. He also found two Aadhar cards, two high school mark sheets and two birth certificates. The police have arrested him after registering a case.

Agniveer recruitment was going on at General BC Joshi Army Ground on Tuesday. Army officials were checking the certificates of the candidates. Namik (Munsiyari) resident Deepak Singh Jamuwal came under suspicion after getting two Aadhar cards, two high school mark sheets and two birth certificates. His date of birth was recorded as 01/03/1999 in one certificate and 01/08/2003 in the other.

When the army officers inquired strictly, Deepak told that his age had passed for the recruitment of Agniveer, so he has made fake certificates. He got the date of birth 01/08/2003 in fake certificates and filled the form for Agniveer recruitment.

Deepak told that he had made a fake certificate of high school from an institution in UP because his age to join the army recruitment had passed. On the other hand, the police say that after investigation, action will be taken against the institute. Security agencies have become alert after the youth was caught with a fake certificate. He is keeping a close watch on every activity in army recruitment.

SP Lokeshwar Singh says that strict action will be taken against the youth who join army recruitment by taking fake certificates. During the army recruitment in Pithoragarh in the year 2018, four youths were caught with fake documents. These youths along with educational records.

In the army recruitment held on December 25, 2018, two youths from Hathras in Uttar Pradesh were caught with fake documents. Two days later, two youths were again caught with fake documents. Among them, one youth was from Aligarh while the other was from Mathura.

Along with the educational records, both the youths had made other documents including fake permanent residence, caste certificate in the name of Pithoragarh district. On August 24, Tahir Khan, a youth of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, was caught with fake documents during Agniveer recruitment in Ranikhet. It was revealed in the investigation that the fake residence certificate of Tahir Khan was made from Haldwani.
