Nitin Upadhyay, Nodal Officer, Uttarakhand Film Development Council informed that the draft of Uttarakhand Film Policy-2022 has been published on the departmental website from July 20, 2022 for the suggestions of the people. If any person is still willing to give suggestions on the above proposed Film Policy-2022, then by 15th September, 2022, he can send it to the departmental email- ufdc2015@gmail.com. Considering the suggestions received by September 15, 2022, action will be taken to finalize the draft of the film policy.

With the aim of bringing the natural beauty and folk culture of the state of Uttarakhand on the world stage, attracting film producers / directors from the country and abroad for shooting in the state of Uttarakhand, developing infrastructure facilities in the film sector and providing employment and income at the local level.
