Uttarakhand : CM Dhami inspected the disaster affected areas in Pithoragarh, said – In this hour of disaster, we will be given the disaster amount along with the disaster affected.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met the disaster-affected people at village Ranthi (Khotila). Along with this, terrestrial and aerial inspection of the disaster affected area was also done. The Chief Minister met the disaster-affected people and inquired about their problems. The Chief Minister said that in this hour of disaster, we are with all the disaster affected and every effort will be made to provide relief. He said that proper arrangements for accommodation, food and clothing should be made for the disaster-affected, which would be paid through the government. Relief money was provided by the Chief Minister to 6 families through checks. Under which a relief amount of four lakh rupees was given to the family of the woman who died during the disaster. Apart from this, action is being taken to provide relief amount to other disaster affected families soon and the remaining disaster affected families will be provided relief amount soon.

The Chief Minister inspected the embankments built on the banks of the Kali river at Dharchula. The Chief Minister told the District Magistrate that all possible work should be done promptly to provide relief to the disaster victims. The government is ready to do everything possible for the rehabilitation of the disaster affected.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Dharchula MLA Harish Dhami, Didihat MLA Bishan Singh Chufal, Block Chief along with District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Chauhan, Chief Development Officer Anuradha Pal, Sub Collector Nandan Kumar, Sub Collector Anurag Arya and other departmental officers were present.
