Uttarakhand / Kashipur : Leopard imprisoned in cage, forest department team did rescue

For the last two months, the leopard, which has become synonymous with terror, has been trapped in the cage of the Forest Department. The forest department team released the leopard in the reserved forest area. There are fears of leopard cubs in the area. The department has installed cameras to monitor them.
In Kaushambi Colony on Manpur Road, information was being received about the leopard roaming with its children for two months. Cages have been set up for several days to catch the leopard. A leopard trapped in one of these cages escaped after breaking the cage on August 11. Since then panic had increased in the colony. Ranger Lalit Kumar Arya cut grass from populated areas. Four cages and several automatic cameras were installed there to capture the leopard.
A leopard got trapped in one of these cages on Friday night at 2.15 pm. On information, the forest department team reached Kaushambi Colony and took the leopard away from the colony. The colonists heaved a sigh of relief on this. Ranger told that there are many cameras installed in the colony. If a child of a leopard is seen in them, then an effort will be made to catch it safely and release it in the reserved forest area. Forest Inspector Brijesh Sharma, Sarjit Singh, Forest constable Sandeep Singh, Govind Prasad, Naveen Chandra, Suresh Chandra were in the team of Junglet.
